In the rolling savannah of Bole district, the Noyiri Shea Estate (NSE) is setting a new benchmark for local value addition in Ghana’s shea sector. Mamuci Limited’s vision here is simple but ambitious: convert Ghana’s wild shea potential into export-grade products while empowering the communities that harvest them.
The estate currently sources nuts from 16,500 hectares of wild shea parkland. Women’s cooperatives are supported with transport, drying platforms, and fair pricing mechanisms. The facility under construction will handle cleaning, extraction, refining, and packaging — all under one roof.
The beauty of NSE is that it’s not just a factory — it’s a value chain. “Every product tells a story of sustainability and dignity.”
Products will include refined shea butter, shea oil, and stearin fractions for the cosmetic, food, and pharmaceutical industries. Exports are expected to grow steadily and peak within three years.
