At Mamuci, we believe that ecological restoration and economic opportunity can go hand in hand. By revitalizing degraded forest reserves and building local capacity for value-added agricultural processing, we are fostering long-term, inclusive growth. Our initiatives, such as training rural women in quality shea harvesting, will soon expand to the establishment of a state-of-the-art shea butter refinery. The refinery will produce Fair Trade-certified, refined shea butter and associated high-value products for export. This effort is designed to create jobs, build local research and manufacturing capacity, and elevate Ghana’s position in the global shea export value chain.
