Forestation
Mamuci works in partnership with the Forestry Commission of Ghana and local communities to sustainably plant a commercial tree forest in the Yerada Forest Reserve. We are committed to restoring ecological integrity, increasing biodiversity, and sequestering carbon. Our goal is to engage in practices that align with the principles of a Model Forest, ensuring environmental sustainability while fostering socio-economic benefits for local communities.
We aspire to establish a sustainable plantation of commercial trees in the Yerada Forest Reserve, alongside the development of the Noyiri Shea Estate (NSE), an offshoot of our main activity. Additionally, we plan to engage the Verified Emission Reductions (VER) carbon markets to generate revenue and further support our reforestation and sustainability efforts.
